Monday, 10/20/14 4 pm - 5 pm Discover Your Strengths in Academics, Leadership and Career Success
Research has shown that people who have the opportunity to focus on their strengths everyday are six times as likely to be engaged in their jobs and more than three times as likely to report having an excellent quality of life in general. Future employers and graduate/professional school recruiters will ask you: "What are your strengths?" How will you answer this question? This workshop will show you how you can identify your strengths and apply your talents in your classes, your leadership activities and your career development. If you are interested in taking the on-line StrengthsQuest assessment prior to this workshop, stop by Career Services at 259 Capen Hall to speak with a Career Counselor or call 645-2231 to schedule an appointment. Participants of this workshop are not required to take StrengthsQuest but may find it helpful. Information on this topic can also be found on the Self-Assessment Tools page.
