Student Employee of the Year Nomination

The purpose of the Student Employee of the Year Award is to recognize UB students who are working while attending school and who are exceptional employees.

Students who are eligible for this award may be working off campus in a variety of industries/organizations or may be working on campus as a student assistant or as a federal college work-study participant. Students must be current undergraduate or graduate students who have worked a minimum of 3 months during the academic year. Criteria for this award were established by the Northeast Association of Student Employment Administrators, a regional group as part of the National Student Employment Association. On a campus level, the award is co-sponsored by Career Services and Financial Aid.

The Student Employee of the Year selection committee will evaluate each student on the following criteria: reliability, quality of work, initiative, disposition, and overall contribution to the employer.

UB Career Services will sponsor a student awards reception on Friday, April 25, 2014 for ALL sites and nominees. At that time the UB Student Employee of the Year will be announced. The winner will receive a prize and will be featured on the UB Career Services website.
